Our story

Light-Hearted Handmade is a testament to God’s faithfulness throughout all of life’s chapters, especially the unexpected ones. While established at the end of 2022, LHH didn’t fully come to fruition until November, 2024, when God gave me the opportunity to participate in my very first craft market. This dream-come-true gave me the push I needed to get this idea rolling and give this adventure a try.

This brand has been through its iterations of theme and message and meaning. But as I sit here now to introduce it once again, I know it has only one true purpose—to glorify the Lord, Jesus Christ.

“Soli Deo Gloria every day” is our brand-new slogan for 2026. Our slogan has been slowly taking shape over this first year of “being in business” and it’s such a joy to finally be able to share it. These words tie together the overarching mission of our shop, which is to glorify Jesus in all things and help you embrace joy in your daily life.

The things we make here are meaningless without God. With His grace, we’ve been able to bring His Name into so many special spaces and share the Good News in unique ways. With His help, we’ve been able to give back to our community and send our little creations out into the world, handmade with love and sealed with prayer. And we’re just getting started.
